Who We Are

Kagaari North Famers Co-operative Society was registered under CS No. 3066 in 1979 as a Farmers’ Cooperative Society Ltd after a split from the larger Kagaari Farmers Co-operative society Ltd.

It is located in Embu east sub-count, Embu county Kenya, with an altitude ranging between 1800m – !900m above sea level.

The Society’s headquarters is at Kanja Market- Behide the Chiefs camp and operates 3 wet mills namely: Kanja Factory, Kathande Factory & Mbuinjeru Factory.

We carry out farming activities, collect coffee from our registered producers, conduct wet processing, handle marketing, and ensure timely payments are made to the respective producers.

Kagaari North Famers Co-operative Society LTD is committed to quality coffee production through:

Regular education and training for producers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs)

Sourcing and supplying quality farm inputs at favorable prices

The Society actively encourages youth and women to participate, resulting in steady membership growth—a clear sign that coffee production will be sustained for generations to come.
